Sydne L.
Originally from Helena, MT. College brought me here, and I stayed because Missoula felt like home.
The Pilates ball is my fave prop - perfect for adding challenge, variation, and a good stretch to any move!
When I’m not teaching Pilates, I love a slow soft life. Some downtime, listening to a podcast and going for a good walk, or spending time with my husband, family, and friends.
Music is my personality, so you can expect a little bit of everything in my classes! My favorite genre is R&B—lots of SZA, Kendrick, and similar vibes—but I also love some good upbeat songs to keep the energy high and the flow fun.
Your time is sacred, and I’m honored you choose to spend it with me. My goal is for you to leave class feeling proud, rejuvenated, and excited to come back, knowing you invested in yourself.
Go-to’s in Missoula:
Missoula has so many gems! Black Coffee is a must for AM espresso, Waterworks is my favorite year-round hike, Noteworthy is perfect for unique finds, and GFS is basically my second home.Personal mantra:
My personal mantra is “less is more” - creating space for what matters by focusing on quality, intention, and simplicity. -
Elle
I’m from Minnesota / South Dakota. I moved to Missoula for college and never left - I mean whats not to love about our cute little mountain town?
I love a good booty focused workout so ankle weights are a go-to for me. Those tiny bangles can really make a big difference... who knew 1lb could be so heavy! I'm also in the midst of a serious pilates ball phase so expect to see them waiting for you on your mat!
When I am not teaching Pilates, I love to travel and am always trying to find my way to a beach. I am a bit of a foodie, both on vacation and not, and always like trying new restaurants and tasting new wines. When the weather is nice in Missoula you can find me soaking in the sun with my husband, two dogs, and friends and often taking long weekends to Swan Lake.
I became a fitness instructor because it was the closest I could get to being a DJ... I love music and put a lot of thought into each of my playlists. My favorites songs span just about every genre but most are chill rap, funky pop, or vibey alternative tunes. My current artist obsessions are Kendrick, Kali Uchis, and Suki Waterhouse. Expect to hear a bit of everything in my class, throw backs and new tracks alike!
I want each of my clients to leave their mat feeling recharged and wanting to come back for more. My classes are a space for people to take time and focus on themselves, feel confident in all their body can do, and to cultivate positive energy for the rest of their day.
Go-to’s in Missoula:
I am currently living at Clyde coffee and should probably start paying them rent soon. I'm also always heading downtown for the Camino, Bar Plata, Plonk, and Cloth and Crown. My favorite local hike is Crazy Canyon because the views are unbeatable.Personal mantra:
Put good energy out. Get good energy back.
I believe that the energy you put out into the world is the energy you attract. This doesn't mean everything in life will be positive if you put out good vibes, but your perspective and how you handle tough things can be. I always try to remind myself that challenges are opportunities for growth, and I want my clients to feel that growth for themselves both on and off their mats. -
Claire
Originally from Wenatchee, WA. I came to Missoula to finish college, and it felt like home from the start. Then I met my husband, and it was a no-brainer—I wasn’t going anywhere!
I love the stability ball! I think it offers so much mind-to-muscle connection, and you can really reach a deeper level of core engagement. In my Pilates class, you can expect a transformative experience that focuses on rebuilding and strengthening your deep core and pelvic floor muscles. Through intentional movement and breath, we will strengthen from the foundation up! You'll be amazed at how capable and confident you'll feel in your overall fitness and daily movement.
When I’m not teaching Pilates, I’m always on the move! I’m a mom to my sweet baby boy, Rhett, and I love walking or running with our two golden retrievers. I’m also sourdoughing, run-coaching, and managing my small-batch tallow skincare business—Montallow!
In my classes, you can expect to hear some of the good stuff from the mid/early 2000s, like Akon, Chris Brown, Nelly Furtado, and Ne-Yo, mixed with some new upbeat fun from Sabrina Carpenter and Tate McRae. Good energy is the goal!
I want you to leave my class with a serotonin boost and newfound muscle connections that you can practice throughout your day—whether that’s breathwork/TVA connection during work, school, walks, or other workouts. I hope you see those inner results that leave you obsessed and craving more.
Go-to’s in Missoula:
Coffee: Clyde Coffee
Hiking: Blue MountainPersonal mantra:
"Get comfortable in the grit." Mindset drives everything for me. If you cut corners, it will show. If you put something off, it will just be harder. So I believe in taking initiative, being consistent (not perfect), and truly falling in love with the training of life. It's not always about training for a race—it's the process leading up to it that’s my favorite. -
Hayle
Originally from Dillon. I came to Missoula to go to school and run track at the University. I immediately fell in love with Missoula’s music scene, river/trail access, and welcoming community!
My favorite prop to use in class is medium-weight dumbbells; they add that edge to the basic Pilates movements and provide a good burn! In my classes, you can expect to see basic compound strength movements mixed with Pilates full-body combos!
Outside of the studio, I am a full-time personal trainer! When I’m not coaching, you can find me hiking with my dog, listening to live music, taking a fitness class around town, or on the river with my fiancé!
I LOVE music, so you will definitely hear a mix of everything in my classes. My playlists will mostly be a mix of R&B, chill rap, and Indie pop. You can expect lots of Kendrick Lamar, SZA, The Weekend, and Frank Ocean.
I want people to leave my classes feeling energized, confident, and grounded.

Green Source, Waterworks, and Tagliare.Personal mantra:
“I am grateful for all that I have and focus on the good in my life. I am worthy of self-love, and I am excited for the new opportunity each day brings.”

Born and raised in Missoula.
My favorite class prop? Resistance bands, all the way! Expect big booty gains and a whole lot of burn in my classes.
If I’m not teaching Pilates, I’m spending time with my three-legged kitty, Cowboy Charlie, whom I absolutely adore. When I’m not snuggling him, you can find me enjoying outdoor adventures or social activities with family and friends. And when I’m not caught up in those moments, I’m dreaming up my next international adventure. I’m always oscillating between cozy moments at home and chasing new experiences, finding joy in both.
Music is a huge part of my life, and I’m always on the hunt for new artists to love. In my classes, you can expect a vibey collection of tracks, blending familiar favorites with fresh discoveries. Don’t be surprised if you find yourself resisting the urge to Shazam mid-workout! I promise to deliver an auditory experience that complements the physical one, making every class as uplifting for your ears as it is for your body.
I want you to leave my class feeling accomplished, energized, and proud of showing up for yourself. My goal is to create an experience that leaves a lasting positive impact on both mind and body, reminding you of the power in taking time for self-care.
Go-to spot in Missoula:
Missoula might not have many hidden gems left, but a tried-and-true staple for me is Rockin’ Rudy’s. I recently got a record player, and I love browsing their extensive record collection, not to mention all the other eclectic treasures they have. It’s the perfect spot to discover something unique!Personal mantra:
"The trouble is, you think you have time." This reminds me that life is fleeting, and time isn’t guaranteed. It pushes me to live fully in the present, prioritize what truly matters, and live intentionally, so I leave no room for regret. -
Erika
Originally from Butte. I moved to Missoula for college and immediately felt at home. From day one, Missoula's easy-going atmosphere and kindhearted community have been impossible to leave!
My favorite prop at The Well is the ankle weights because they provide an effective challenge and, honestly, are really cute! For my classes, expect to use 1-2 props. I believe proper form is the best way to see results, but props can elevate movements and are a tangible way to track improvement.
Outside of teaching Pilates, I’m enrolled in the University of Montana's School Counseling Master's program. When I’m not studying, I’m usually walking or hiking with my dog Sloane. You can also find me at Hype House Studio, where I coach spin and strength classes. If I’m not schooling, walking, or spinning, I’m likely binge-watching The Real Housewives with a face mask on and a hot drink in hand!
In my classes, you can expect to hear a mix of hip-hop, rap, soft pop, and alternative music. I’m a long-time lover of A$AP Rocky, Kacey Musgraves, James Blake, and Kendrick Lamar. More recently, you’ll find Chappell Roan, Fred Again, Taylor Swift, and RÜFÜS DU SOL on my Spotify. My music taste can be described as mellow beats with a catchy chorus or strong bridge (i.e., Down Bad by Taylor or Good, Luck Babe! by Chappell).
I want people to leave my class feeling grounded and refreshed. For 45 minutes, you can connect to yourself and be present in the moment.
Go-to’s in Missoula:
Coffee: Black Coffee & Le Petit
Dinner/Drinks: Gild, Zoothai, Michi & Biga. Draught Works, Kettlehouse & Montgomery.
Hiking: Blue Mountain & Barmeyer Trail
TLC: Kindred, Dharma Wellness & Sunday SchoolPersonal mantra:

Missoula, born and raised.
When it comes to favorite props in class, the stability ball wins. It’s one of the most versatile props—you can use it to intensify a move or modify it, offering lots of options for any level. Plus, they’re super cute!
Outside the studio, you’ll likely find me making music or spending time outdoors, soaking in all that Missoula has to offer.
In my classes, you can expect playlists that lean toward the lower BPMs and are inspired by how I’m feeling, who I’m currently obsessed with, or even the weather that day. My go-tos often include Fred Again, SiR, Hippo Campus, The Japanese House, and Kendrick.
After a class with me, I hope you leave feeling a little more at peace and maybe even having learned something new.
As for favorite local spots? Right now, I’m loving Black Coffee and my couch—both perfect for recharging.
Personal mantra:
“There is a quote in stoicism that talks about staying ready so you don’t have to get ready. Life inevitably throws challenges our way, and I think it’s a powerful mindset to carry forward: trusting that we’re built to face adversity. Movement opens us up for this—to be mentally and physically prepared for the push and pull of life’s ebb and flow.” -

I moved to Missoula for college in 2010 and never left. This place and the people here immediately felt like home.My favorite class prop? Ankle/wrist weights — they just add a little extra spice to any move!

Expect beats that keep you going, but with lyrics that can get you in your feels. (And if you’re curious, I'm loving The Kid LAROI right now!)
After class with me, I want you to feel capable and thinking, “Woah, I didn’t know I had those muscles!”

Right now, I’m obsessed with House of Sky for trail running, and Grist for pastries afterward.Personal mantra:

I am originally from Helena, MT. I moved to Missoula nine years ago for school but quickly fell in love with the Missoula community and decided to call it home!
The stability ball has become my favorite prop, but I love the ankle and wrist weights too. Both are simple ways to add extra burn into movements. When it comes to props, I like to keep everything simple!
When I’m not at The Well, I’m likely at one of my other jobs or spending quality time with my people. I work as an esthetician at KINDRED skin + sole, and one morning a week I’m making coffee at the Loose Caboose.
SZA is a consistent artist in all of my playlists, but I have a wide variety on my Spotify so it will depend on the day! My top five artists of 2024 were SZA, Gracie Abrams, Billie Eilish, Kendrick Lamar, and Taylor Swift.
I want people to feel strong and clear minded when they are leaving the studio after one of my classes.
Go- to’s in Missoula:
So many local goodies! The Good Food Store, Le Petit, and The Roxy are high up on my list.Personal mantra:
Discomfort means growth. You can do the hard thing!s here. -

Missoula is home for me!
My favorite class props are bands and hand weights. As a strength-focused trainer, I love combining the burn from bands with the challenge of weights.
If I’m not teaching Pilates, you’ll likely find me personal training, hiking with my dogs, daydreaming about my next tropical trip, or spending time with friends and family. I love all things outdoors and adventure, so I spend a lot of my free time exploring Montana.
In my classes, you can expect a mix of music. I have a very broad taste, but a lot of my favorites come from the late 90s and early 2000s. I love old-school rap but also enjoy some chill indie music.
I want you to leave my class feeling like your strongest, most confident self. My goal is to create a comforting and accepting environment where anyone and everyone can come to get stronger, laugh a little, listen to some good tunes, and leave feeling accomplished after doing something hard while finding your happiest, most confident self.
Go-to’s in Missoula:
Le Petit—you can often find me there with a matcha and my laptop.Personal mantra:
"Bad bitches do hard things" (I know it isn’t very Pilates-chill of me lol). I also love "the pursuit of wellness," which is my business motto.
